Message from Lucy Jones, President, Neuroblastoma Australia.
As many of you know, due to COVID-19 we postponed our event to September 6th.
We are currently communicating with NSW Health for approval for Run2Cure 2020, having modified it to be in line with COVID-19 regulations. You can find the modifications we are making here.
We are hopeful it will take place but we are living in a time of uncertainty and we have therefore also decided to create a virtual option this year, called Run2Cure Local. This event is far better suited to at risk groups, as you can choose one of the usual distances, 1k, 3k, 5k and 10k but do at home or in your local area - on your own or with family and friends.
We have also sourced a great app which means you can get your run time recorded and take part in our virtual competition if you so wish.
You will find both options explained at run2cure.org.au
If you have already registered for Run2Cure Domain but are keen to switch to the virtual please contact us via email firstname.lastname@example.org
If for reasons related to COVID and safety, Run2Cure Domain can't take place, we will be providing a credit to Run2Cure Domain 2021 and also a free transfer into Run2Cure local (if cancelled by 23rd August).
Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support for our charity during this time. Together, we can continue to raise vital funds for research into a cure for the children's cancer neuroblastoma.
